The Buccleuch Arms at St Boswells, near Melrose is reopening its Pop Up Bar this weekend. During the winter, customers enjoyed a superb Alpine ski lodge experience in the Chalet Coo but as spring and summer approach, the Chalet Coo has reinvented itself as the Summer Coo.

Showing live coverage of key sporting events and offering a spring and summer drinks menu, the Summer Coo is the perfect place to enjoy relaxing drinks with friends.
To coincide with the Summer Coo launch, the Blue Coo Bistrot has also launched its spring menu, once again making maximum use of local and seasonal produce. The new menu includes local roe venison, Ettrick Valley salmon, Borders beef fillet, spring chicken, rhubarb, ginger and lemon cheesecake and local cheeses.
The Buccleuch Arms was originally built as a hunting lodge by the 5th Duke of Buccleuch and is now run by Billy and Rachael Hamilton. The 4 Star Coaching Inn is close to fabulous scenery and walks, delightful market towns and yet is only one hour by road from Edinburgh and Newcastle and only seven miles from Tweedbank Station, a key stop on the Borders railway.
Billy Hamilton said:

“With comfortable and contemporary bedrooms, a traditional bar, our more modern Bistrot and the Pop Up Summer Coo bar, The Buccleuch Arms offers something for everyone. “Whether you are paying a visit to the Scottish Borders for the first time or live nearby and simply fancy a break from cooking for yourself, you are extremely welcome at The Buccleuch Arms. Come down and enjoy a taste of the Borders.”
